Dell C3765dnf Network Scanning Problem

I can't resolve th following problem.

We've just installed a C3765dnf onto our network.

Network is a MS Server 2012 R2 server and 8 Windows 7 Pro workstations.

Printer is configured on the network with IP address and we're trying to use it to Scan using WSD.

All the workstations can see the printer OK and can see it as a WSD scanner.

However, when you do a scan preview, it doesn't complete. The scan preview just hangs at this point.

The printer beeps as if it has completed and the printer becomes available for everyone else again.

The scan preview has to be killed using the Task Manager. The scan software won't run again on that PC until it's rebooted.

But if I use my Windows 8.1 laptop, everything works fine.

It looks like it's some problem between the printer and Windows 7. The Windows clients are all updated to the latest level.

The clients all use Eset Endpoint Security v6 with Eset Firewall. I've disabled the firewall using the option on the taskbar, but no difference.

Any advise would be appreciated.

Hi,

Can you find any error  under event viewer -> Windows -> application / system?

Have you tried to reinstall the scan driver to see if it can work fine?

PC Scan Time Out Error:

This is a USB scanning error, not a network scan error. To fix this, use the "scan to network" option instead of "scan to application".

If the issue still persists, please try the process monitor the get the system events during reproing this issue and see if we can find any clue.
