Deleting Windows.old folder
Having reimaged a machine with an XP pro Sp2 image, I cannot get rid of the windows.old folder. I get an Access denied error message to a Macromedia file that simply wont delete. I have tried Unlocker and Killbox without success. Any help greatly appreciated Thanks - Phil

After checking the issue, it seems this is a general Windows XP issue. As this forum focuses on Windows 7 specific issues, this inquiry would best be posted to Windows XP forum: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/category/windowsxpitpro The reason why we recommend posting appropriately is you will get the most qualified pool of respondents, and other partners who read the forums regularly can either share their knowledge or learn from your interaction with us. Thank you for your understanding. Also, for your information, I'd like to include the following articles regarding the issue: How to remove the Windows.old folder that is generated when you perform a custom installation of Windows Vista http://support.microsoft.com/kb/933212Sean Zhu - MSFT
