Hi Everyone,Whenever i start my computer after the desktop gets loaded i get a windows firewall disabled alert.This last for 10-15 secs.After this my firewall is on.Also my LAN & Wireless icon on the notificaton loads only after firewall alerts is gone.I have started facing this problem since the last 1 month.I am using a Licensed Windows XP Pro on my computer.I have Quick heal antivirus (No firewall) installed on my computer along with Lavasoft's Ad-aware.I have been using this software for almost a Year.Can someone please help me with this problem.Jerald Anthony3 people need an answerI do too

I too have exactly the same problem. Seems to have been caused by a Windows update. I have recently reinstalled Windows XP from scratch and the problem arose when I was installing updates. There was no third party software on the machine apart from bundled OEM software.

Make sure your are running SP3 and also do defragnment and clean up also run full scan with:http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/default.htmIf problem did not solved then contact Microsoft Support.
