Defragment my personal computer.
I can not defragment my personal computer. It says run Chkdsk /f. I have tried to run that several times, and nothing happens.1 person needs an answerI do too

Hi,· How are you trying to run Chkdsk? When you are booted on the desktop or at the startup?· What happens when you try to run the chkdsk? Do you get any error message? If yes, what is the exact error message? I would suggest you to configure Chkdsk to run when the system restarts next time. Follow the steps mentioned below to configure Chkdsk to run when the Windows Vista restarts next time.a. Click Start and then Run.b. In Open, type cmd and then press ENTER.c. Use one of the following procedures:Procedure 1:To run Chkdsk in read-only mode, at the command prompt, type chkdsk, and then press ENTER.Procedure 2:To repair errors without scanning the volume for bad sectors, at the command prompt, type chkdsk volume:/f, and then press ENTER. Do you mean that when you try to defragment one of your volumes you see a message similar to this:Disk Defragmenter has detected that Chkdsk is scheduled to run on this volume: (C:) Please run Chkdsk /f.Do, or do not. There is no try.I need YOUR votes and points for helpful replies and Propose as Answers. I am saving up for a pony!
