Default Gateway Blank
Hi My Local Area Connection's Default Gateway is blank, hence I can't access my router. How can I solve this problem? I tried 192.168.1.1 as well, but it gives my a gateway timeout...

Hi, You can manually add the default gateway. Open Control Panle - Network and Internet - Network and Sharing Center On the left pane, click Change Adapter settings, right-click Local Area Connection, choose Properties. Double-click Internet Protocol Version 4, click "Use the following IP address", manually input your Default gateway. You can use the netsh command as well if for some reason manually entering the IP is giving you a problem. Configure TCP/IP Settings from the Command Prompt or via Script http://www.anitkb.com/2010/10/configure-tcpip-settings-from-command.html Visit: anITKB.com, an IT Knowledge Base.
