Hi, I bought Windows 7 Ultimate 32 Bit a while ago and was quite content until I realized that the automatic Configuration-Tool of Windows 7 seems to look for new networks every 60 seconds. This lags up all my Internet games, I cannot play anything only while using Windows 7 because it either leads to time-outs or ping limit kicks because the lags spikes are raising the ping up to 300, then it falls back to the normal 65 ms within 3 seconds. During this time I cannot move and it's frozen up and the sound repeats itself until the lag is gone. My question is: Is it possible to turn this network search off? and if yes, how can I do this?
