Data decryption in windows 7 Enterprise Edition
Hi, We encrypted folder (Which contains Data) in one of my laptop (Lenovo) which contains Vista Enterprise Edition. But today we formatted that system without decrypting the folder and installed Window 7 Enterprise Edition.Now how to decrypt that data.The data is in D:\ Drive. Please help me.

This depends on how you encrypted the information (it sounds like EFS in your description) and if you have a recovery agent in place. Assuing you are using EFS to encrypt the folder you would have had the decryption key saved locally. There is a possibility that you via Group Policies set a so called recovery agent, meaning that another user can decrypt the information. If you did a complete format of the disk when installation Windows 7 the local key is gone, but if you did not format the disk and just installed Windows 7 on the same partition you might be able to retrieve the decryption key from c:\Windows.old.Blogging about Windows for IT pros at www.theexperienceblog.com
