Hi,I have a hardware compatability issue with a Samsung DVD/RW drive. Windows 7 x64 see it as only a CDrom, so of course none of my DVD burning software will work on it. the Drive mode is a TSSTcorp-CD\DVDW SH-SH182m SsmSung is the maker. I've already updated the firmware to the latest. and my Bios sees it, and I can boot from it there. I tried to update driver from the MS servers, but it keeps see it as a CDrom. Help?

Have you updated your motherboard/chipset drivers? That's where the controller for the CD/DVD drive resides.- John
