DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE in ndiswan.sys
Nearly every time I try to Sleep or Hibernate my laptop it crashes. This didn't happen originally (I got the PC 18 months ago), but started happening a few months ago. I did an analysis of the dump and found it was crashing in ndiswan.sys. I have Widows
update turned on:

Also try disabling Remote Desktop Connection settings.
Start->Help and Support->search remote desktop connection

No, I've seen the reports about Kaspersky. I use Microsoft Security Essentials.
The article you attached seems incorrect - I see Parameter 1 equals 0x3 but I can't view TRIAGE_9F_POWER:
0: kd> dt nt!TRIAGE_9F_POWER 83d63ae0
Symbol nt!TRIAGE_9F_POWER not found.
I tried updating the driver for my ethernet (Intel(R) 82567LM Gigabit Network Connection) but it's already up to date. What else can I check?
Thanks.

I upgraded using that link, and also the WiFi driver (also Intel). The crash still occurred but this time the analysis gave me:

DNE2000.sys is used by the Cisco VPN app my company uses. I found a link to upgrade it from here:
http://www.citrix.com/lang/English/lp/lp_1680845.asp
This seems to fix the crash!

Nice that you found the Vista driver causing the problem. Share it with others from work if they are using Windows 7.

Damn, just had the same problem with putting my laptop to sleep. Different driver again:

Apparently this is the Intel Wifi driver, but I already upgraded this to the latest version (Intel WiFi Link 5300 AGN).

Perhaps the Cisco package again. Wireless version. Do you have a Cisco wireless AP at work?
Intel link here:
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Wireless+Networking&ProductLine=Intel%c2%ae+WiFi+Products&ProductProduct=Intel%c2%ae+WiFi+Link+5300+and+Intel%c2%ae+WiFi+Link+5100+products&ProdId=3062&LineId=1784&FamilyId=1783
Also, in the properties for the device, uncheck "allow the computer to power off this device" as a workaround if it continues to annoy you.

Based on what you posted, NETwNs32.sys driver is the cause of your problem. It belongs to your Wifi
Card driver.
Do you have a VPN client installed? If yes, disable it and try again. Also, disable all security softwares and try again.
If the problem persists, contact Intel Technical Support.
