DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL blue screen
I have a blue screen that says DRIVER_IRQL_LESS_OR_EQUALTechnical info: STOP: 0x0000000D1 (0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0xF81876DC)RT2500.xyx- address F81876DC base at F816F000, DateStamp 42675c99I know very little about computers, but can only access my data thru the safemode (no online access here). Can anyone walk me through how to fix this problem?Kelly1 person got this answerI do too

The correct file name is RT2500.sys and it belongs to a Linksys wireless adapter. Update the drivers for the adapter. Get them from Linksys' website, obviously from a different computer which can reach the Internet. I would uninstall the adapter completely before installing the new drivers. If this doesn't work, the adapter has probably failed and should be replaced.MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!

I also have a similar problem with my laptop. I tried the previous suggestion and was unable to open the minidump files. They are dmp files and I do not know what program to open them with. My laptop stays on for about 1/2 hour sometimes and then the blue screen comes up. When I restart it sometimes it will reload and then all of a sudden go to a black screen and I will have to restart. DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL Technical information: (different codes at different times) 0x0000000A (0x7FDFF99C, 0x0000001C, 0X00000001, )X804E33BA These errors are different almost every time (they seem to be). PLEASE HELP!!

If the Stop Errors are different each time you most probably have hardware failure. You can troubleshoot it yourself, starting with the RAM, or take the laptop to a reputable local professional. Don't use a BigComputerStore/GeekSquad type of place. If the laptop is still under warranty, contact the mftr.'s tech support. http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Hardware_TshootMS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!

You may wish to start a new thread, and upload the contents of c:\windows\minidump to your SkyDrive. Provide a link in your new thread along with a description of the problem.
