DNS server is not responding
I just received two new computers from HP running Windows 7. I am running a small shared network. I can see everyone else's pcs on my new computers, however, I am unable to get on the internet. I have tried multiple DNS numbers that have
been recommended with no luck. All my pcs have staic ips. Everyone else is running xp.

Hi,
When setting up the static IP address, did you input the correct default gateway?
I would like to suggest you
run the Network troubleshooter in Windows 7 to troubleshoot the issue.
If it does not work, I also would like to suggest you run the following commands with elevated privilege:
NETSH
INT IP RESET
NETSH
WINHTTP RESET PROXY
IPCONFIG
/FLUSHDNS
Does it work?
