DNS resolution ?? Error 12007
Remember - This is a public forum so never post private information such as email or phone numbers!Ideas:(First post & Hi)Using XP SP3 and IExplorer searches return "Cannot display page". Error 12007(Similar using Firefox)This happens when address is entered alphabetically but not on some sample numeric page entries. (eg www. Google produces error, but 209.85.229.99 gives connection.Ipconfig looks OK and other PCs connected to same router are all OK. Can ping router but other pages time out. Connection settings all for auto IP number.Have run scannow and winsock., flushed DNS an cleared temp files.Have added , used and replaced with new Network card, with no effect.Any suggestions please before reinstall?? Programs you are having problems with Error messages Recent changes you made to your computer What you have already tried to fix the problem 3 people need an answerI do too
