Hi,I've juste installed Win 7 RC 32 bits in order to check my company's software compatibity. I'm using French version of Win 7. I can see a strange behavior with DNSsuffix search list. I choose "child.parent.com" as primary DNS suffixbut"DNS Suffix Search List" in the "ipconfig /all"command show only "child.parent.com". It should normally display"child.parent.com" and "parent.com" in the list.In the "Advanced DNS Tab"of the LAN connection, "Append primary and connection specific DNS suffixes" and "Append parent suffixes of the primary DNS suffix" was selected.I think it's a French version bug. Is anyone can see the same thing ?

I am running the Win 7 trial version right now and am seeing this same issue. We have a.b.c.company.com as our DNS suffix for clients. The DNS suffix lists contains c.company.com (and a.b.c and b.c), however company.com is not part of the auto-generated DNS suffix search list. Is there a limit of 3 parent suffixes in Win7 which wasn't present in XP/Vista? This started when I did an in-place upgrade from Vista to Win 7.
