DNS Sevrer isn't responding. For ONE website
Hi there,
Im having a problem getting onto one particular website which I never had a problem with before. I tried deactivating the Firewall but it didn't work. That's as far as my Techy skills go! If answering my question, could you please make it as easy (I mean
as if I'm 5 yrs old) to understand as possible as I genuinely have very limited knowledge of computers! The website is
www.ch131.com
I have Windows 7
Thanks in advance!

Hello Odds55,
That domain does not appear to exist. According to NSLOOKUP (a tool used to query DNS), there is no host or alais record established for
www.ch131.com. There aren't even any DNS servers that host this domain.

I suspect they've been shut down as there was much controversy over whether they legally had the right to stream the TV shows.

As I described above, the Name Servers (DNS servers) for this domain name are no longer being resolved by the .com Name Servers. Otherwise, the set type=NS command in NSLOOKUP would have provided the host names and IPs for the DNS servers hosting the
ch131.com zone.
So for all intent purposes, this domain name is unresolveable, even if the ch131.com DNS servers are up and running. You cannot get to this domain unless the top level name servers provide the referral.
