DNS Server not responding on home network, can connect to other wireless signals
I am running Windows 7, on an Acer Aspire 5532, and when I try to connect to the wireless router at home, it tells me that the DNS Server is not responding. I am on the Home network, bit have no internet access. I can connect to other wireless networks with no problem at all, and when I ping the router, it responds. When I hardwire into the modem at home, I can connect to the internet. Please help!

Do an ipconfig/all on the command prompt. See if it lists out the DNS servers for the wireless adapter. It could be that the router is giving out the IP however there are no DNS settings broadcasted -- Regards, Vik Singh -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please remember to click ??Mark as Answer? on the post that helps you, and to click ??Unmark as Answer? if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
