I already asked a question about this, but the person who was helping me stopped replying. Anyways, I have been getting the Event ID 1014 for the past few months... However, my iPod and PS3 do not disconnect when my laptop does, and they are all using the same DNS server. I have tried the following: - Updating my Wireless adapter: Atheros AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter 9.2.0.105 - Re-seating the Wireless adapter/cleaning the contacts - Resetting the router - Resetting TCP/IP - Disabled IPv6 I do not know what to do now... Hello Arthur, Thanks for the response. I have tried everything listed in the above link, but I was exhausted from my workout yesterday, so I turned my laptop off for the evening. If it doesn't work, I will temporarily disable my Antivirus. Thanks! The only thing I cannot do, is configure spanning-tree portfast, as I do not have a switch.

If it doesn't work, I will temporarily disable my Antivirus. Thanks! The only thing I cannot do, is configure spanning-tree portfast, as I do not have a switch. I uninstalled Trend Micro because: 1. My 1-year sub. is almost up 2. Whenever I open a safe website, it says it is unsafe So, I installed Avast.
