DNS Client Can't Solve domain in Microsoft DNS Server (AD integrated zone)
DNS Client : Windows 7 DNS Server : Microsoft DNS Server (Active Directory integrated zone) on Windows Server 2003 Forwarder for DNS Server : UNIX Server ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Domain A only located at DNS Server Domain B only located at forwarder Domain C located at both servers (DNS Server & Forwarder) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Windows 7 DNS client can't resolve domain A but able to resolve domain B & C Windows 7 DNS client only can resolve domain A after restart DNScache. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Administrator required to restart DNScache and we don't like to do it. Why and how to overcome this problems?

Hi, Thank you for posting here. At this time, please try the following to check the issue and gather some information for our further research: When the Windows 7 client can only resolve domain A, please also send a DNS query to domain B and capture a netmon trace: 1. Download the Microsoft Network Monitor 3.3. 2. Install network monitor on the computer and start to capture. 3. Telnet a hostname which is in domain B on port 53 with the command “telnet o <hostname> 53”, if connection is failed, stop capturing and save the netmon trace file to check the related network activations. For your convenience, I have created a workspace for you. You can upload the netmon trace via the following link.
