DHCP Issue Windows 7 SP1 on Domain connected computers with WPA2-Enterprise
Hi All
We have a very weird issue here with some of our Windows 7 SP1 x64 Laptops. The laptops are connected to our domain.
DHCP Server is Windows Server 2008R2, which is relayed through a Cisco 4400 WLAN Controller.
Client has Windows 7 SP1 x64 and is joined to our domain.
WLAN is WPA2-Enterprise with PEAP authentification.
If the client has set the option "Automatically use my Windows logon name and password" set enabled, it doesn't finishes the DHCP handshake. Authentication works fine and it gets an IP Address offered by the DHCP Server. If I disable that option and type
in my credentials, it finsihes the DHCP handshake.
No good looks like (Italic = controller):
DHCP Discover - DHCP Offer, 8 seconds pause, DHCP Discover - DHCP Offer, 8 seconds pause, ....
Good looks like:
DHCP Discover - DHCP offer - DHCP Request - DHCP ACK - DHCP Inform
Any idea why this could be?
And is there a way to attach files? I have wireshark captures of both.
Thanks,
Patrick

Hi Patrick,
You can upload the capture using SkyDrive:
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itproui/thread/4fc10639-02db-4665-993a-08d865088d65
Put it in a public folder, and reply a folder link here.
