Hey there, one night i was on my computer, no problem, then next day i woke up, and i had no internet, i was getting the Connection: Unknown message, which i recently heard is a problem. When i went to my DHCP thing to click start, it said access was denied, so i went and changed it to Local System Account, under the Log On tab. Now i have no idea how to change it back. I have no internet on that computer, and no way of telling how to fix it, i need help!

Hi You need to be more specific with what exactly happend and what you did afterwards. What do you mean by "Dhcp thing"?How do you connect to the internet?

Alrighty, the only way to fix the Error 5: Access is Denied FOR ME!!!! i had to run my data reset in other words, i deleted every file but the basics on my computer, and now im not downloading any automatic updates in case it downloads the same one again that caused the problem

I downloaded the automatic updates and went to bed, the "DHCP thing" is one of the controls under Systems. When i would click Start, it would give me the error message.in order to resolve this issue, as system restore did not work properly, i ran eManagement and cleared my entire computer, then redownloaded the files i felt like still having.Not wise, but there is squat for solutions to the Error 5 : Access is denied message that i can find anywhere on the internet, and it was crucial to fix, as it affected my internet, not my files.
