DEP and HP Photosmart Printer Software
Recently I installed HP Photosmart Printer software. After the installation, my CPU would max out and stay maxed out. About a week after the installation, I began receiving the messaqge that DEP was preventing the launch of the Generis Host Process for Win32 Services. HP tech support will not help me with my CPU issue because they contend I have a virus and it is this virus that is causingmy CPUproblem and not the HP software. In addition, the DEP has begun blocking other sopftware from launching, for example, I recently downloaded an update for my Yahoo toolbar and DEP blocked its launch. Also, it is blocking Desktop Weather from launching. I have the latest Norton Visrus defintions and I have run a complete system scan and no viruses. What is my problem and what should i do.

Windows XP SP2 - I didn't realize I was in the VISTA support group. I apologize and will locate the XP group to inquire about my issue.
