DDE Server not responding when opening a pdf saved on my laptop running on Windows 7 RC. How can I correct the problem?

It stands forDynamic Data Exchange.And it's about taking information from program A and merging it into program B - on the fly. As an example, it can be quite useful in a situation where you might have a contact record in a contact manager and you want to merge the info into a template in Word. Or you can link two spreadsheets by way of a DDE link. In other words, you can update a cell in spreadsheet A and have it update a cell or cells in spreadsheet B. As such, you may need to have whatever app that was supplying data to the app that created the document open. Does it do this with ALL PDF files? Or just one?
