DCOM Error: Local Launch for a (potentially nonexistant) account

*I was directed here from Microsoft Answers due to the complexity of the situation

since the start of win8.1, I been having a yellow warning about a  DCOM launch error, and normally like the other DCOM error I would be a be to add the permission to what needs its. the problem is that it is for "NT Authority\SYSTEM" and when I try to add, and tried a advanced search for the name, it came up empty. in the end I had to give up, after fixing a problem with RAID driver that caused my hard drive, running AHCI, to be "resetting by request", I noticed that the yellow is now red error with same write-up. the only name that came close to the account was "SYSTEM" and it has all allowed. the problem only gets in event viewer when the computer is started up. is there something missing that could probably add the "NT Authority\SYSTEM"?

SMS Agent Host is what the application ID (APPID) leads to

Hi,

According to the description about error code 10061 from microsoft:

A program, the Clsid displayed in the message, tried to start the DCOM server by using the DCOM infrastructure. Based on the security ID (SID), this user does not have the necessary permissions to start the DCOM server.

Refer to the contents of the link below for more details:

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/support/ee/transform.aspx?ProdName=Windows+Operating+System&ProdVer=5.2&EvtID=10016&EvtSrc=DCOM

On the other hand, please follow the solution of the link below for test to fix this problem:

sorry for the delay, I on another problem that was a problem for all of my operating system and now it's fine

the only thing that is related to "NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM" is just "SYSTEM" (there is no folder it is located in in advanced search). the people on the 2nd link suggest to disregard the nt authority part (for local service) so it would be just SYSTEM. the SYSTEM account already all all permissions checked for local and remote launch and activation from the start but the error shows up at startup still.

Hi,

How about assign the full control permission to current User Account? Please have a try.

On the other hand, to identify if it is specific user account permssion problem, you can try to another administrator account to check if there is similar problem with it. If that it is, it's not user account problem. If not, it's most probably account permission problem.
