Following HDD crash, I have a newly supplied PC with instal of XP Pro SP3 & IE 8.0.I am under pressure with quarterly tax reporting to do and every time I try and print from any IE-based program the window shuts down trying to "protect" me. I have the option selected "turn on DEP except for..." where I have IE included. How do I resolve this nonsense? (My work around (& why should I need one!!!!!!) is to print first to PDF format, where I have Adobe Ver 8.0 which has been exempted from DEP) and print from there. Otherwise I could do no work at all.This PC I am emailing from also runs XP Pro SP 3 & IE Ver 8.0, with NO DEP problems at all. In fact I had never heard of DEP until the new PC arrived this week.EDIT: I see a whole thread under Related Topics on this issue.
