Customize Group Views - Remove Manual add and remove memberships and New and Delete

Hello All,

I have been working for a couple days on trying to modify Security Group UI available to Non-Administrators

I would like them to be able to leave the Join and Leave Buttons but not see the add member and remove member, New and Delete at the all Security Groups Page, I have tried modifying it by removing setting the Set of group administrators to only administrators,

I also need to hide from non-administrator users the Manually Add and remove members

These are many questions and all have multiple parts.  Please start with this and then see how far you get.

Your view is related to Portal Configuration, whereas the Group View is in RCDC for groups in combination with the MPRs for that group.

Portal Configuration has sets and MPRs also of who can see what.

I believe you need to do some reading and trial and error.  This is a not a 5 minute work.

Hello Nosh,

I have done all these modifications for Users, and Computers, as you assisted with. But the Same setting for New and Delete do not work on groups.

Changing "Group Administrators" set to criteria with users Resource ID in "Administrators"

After IISReset it stayed there.

I do not want to hide the manual add option in the RDCD due to then it will hide from all users, not just non-administrators

I changed the MPR of "Users can Read Security Groups" and changed the attributes they can read, like I did with users and Computers, but the "Members to Remove"  and "Members to Add" field is still there. After IISReset.

I read in a few places you could not remove the delete and ADD for groups, but with the standard user account they should not display, but they do.

I read through the doc link you sent and but it doesn't go into specifics on Group Resources.

Thanks for any input.
