Current Critical
Current is Critical: Having worked on some computers recently, let alone over the years, it seems there is something that needs to be mentioned. End Users, IT Pros & IT Managers can ALL do well to take this to heart. Everything in a computer must be kept up to date. This applies to far more than just something like Microsoft Updates. Many items have new versions periodically or new definitions. Many, while being used on a regular basis, will notify of new versions being available. Things do not and cannot work at their optimum if 'old'. It is only to the ultimate benefit of both the computer and the user to pay attention to this and update & or upgrade in a timely fashion. Here are some examples to demonstrate the point being made here: CCleaner SpywareBlaster Skype Malwarebytes Windows Live Essentials MBSA Java Adobe TeamViewer Browsers Anti-Virus and Anti-Malware Utilities Be sure to run things on a regular and frequent basis, such as scans (daily), Disc Check and tools that keep Junk/Un-necessary Files cleaned out such as Internet Options, CCleaner & Disc Cleanup. Get informed, ask questions and do not neglect the above recommendations... due diligence significantly helps prevent disaster. Being preventive is wise and far better than struggling to be reactive. Keeping upgrades, updates and actions current is critical. Thank you, Drew Computer Issues Drew MS Partner / MS Beta Tester / Pres. Computer Issues Pres. Computer Issues www.drewsci.com
