Critical Update
I have Win 7 64 bit and notice today in the critical updates that there are 2 Optional updates: KB2640148 KB2660075 and wonder if I really need to install them? I have no knowledge of of computers and don't know if they are necessary or not. I use the computer only for minor personal work. Nothing detailed or advanced, etc. Can I just disregard them, or do I need them, or can I right click and "Hide." I am at a loss here and would appreciate any help. Thank you.

Hi, KB2640148 is used to fix the issue about Windows Explorer stops responding when you try to expand a mapped drive. KB2660075 is used to fix the issue about failed to change the time and date if the time zone has been set to Samoa (UTC+13:00). As they are Optional Updates, if you do not encounter these problems, I suggest ignoring them directly. The choice is yours.
