Creating desktop icons for a webpage
I have a webpage on my company web server and I need to put an icon on all employees desktops for it, I have created the .ico image, and using the 'create shortcut" path I can set it up, but it has that stupid shortcut arrow on it. How do I make the icon so it does not have that arrow? I know I can just do a shortcut , then change the 'isShortcut' property in my registry, but that wont help with all the other employees icons.Simon.

Hi, If it is possible, you may make your operations as a batch file or VB script and create a shortcut of it, then export a *.reg file that is to change the "isShortcut" property in the registry. To share the two files to your employees. --------------------------------------------------- @each off start iexplore http://www.microsoft.com --------------------------------------------------- In the meantime, you may redirect to Script Center for assistance.
