Creating/Copying a default user
Any way to copy a user to "Default user" yet in windows 7??? Without using system prep, I know you can do this manually but that’s a pain. Any utility apps that will do this, or patch to enable the “COPY TO” button, yes I have tried “Windows Enabler” and it does not work for me. I’m trying to setup computers on a domain for a school. I have read the http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itprogeneral/thread/5a5d44b6-116a-4a21-bc64-53379218ecc6 but no luck.

Hello,I am afraid that you have to manually copy the files from one user profile to Default user. I tried to manually point the "Default User" to a user profile folder, but windows failed to load the profiles for new users. I think certain files cannot be load due to the permission issue. You can modify the Default User folder's location by the following registry key:[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList] Thomas77
