Hello!
How or where do you create bootable cd revocery for windows 8.1
Have backed avwindows "image backup" from filgjennoppretting
but can not find where a stock this CD ROM.
You may refer to:

No, you cannot directly make a Recovery CD. Just a Recovery Drive (USB).
For catastrophic protection, once you have made a System Image backup, you can boot the DVD you got Windows 8.1 on then in the Windows Recovery Environment you can restore that backup.
If you did not get Windows 8.1 on a DVD then you should make sure you can boot from that Recovery Drive in a pinch.
Does this recovery image recovers everything?
system, files, apps, drivers, etc....
I did a recovery on a flashdrive but it took very little space, when I try to do one on my recover drive (D), it wants 32 gb.
so it does not make sense that my flash drive can be use to recover everything.
I am sooo tired of researching this ...I am totally confuse how to set up a real back up in case my computer fails in some way, which just happened to me and I lost everything. took forever to get everything back such as drivers for printers, re-installing pdf, re-installing office 2010 (which thankfully I have on a disk).
I could not even go online for help.....I really need a full recovery ....please help
You could get an external USB drive (I prefer Western Digital MyBook Essential models) and do a System Image Backup. That's available in the File History panel, and is a FULL backup that, after booting from your original media or a recovery drive, you can use to restore a fully working system to bare metal.
