Create SQL delta for FIM 2010

I am currently running an environment which sync data between SQL and FIM 2010.

Till now i was running full import on SQL but now I need to import only changes from SQL.

Can you please guide me on how this can be achieved ? I tried some articles regarding snapshots etc but could not really implement those well.

Adi,

SQL profilers by default don't provide the functionality of Delta Import but you can create a Delta View of your SQL Table/View and can use that for less updates to flow in FIM.

To make Delta Views in SQL, I believe you can connect with some DBA/SQL Team.

Hi Adi,

Using SnapShot is maybe the simplest way.

Creating Snapshot is the easiest part: http://www.wapshere.com/missmiis/speeding-up-import-times-from-sql-mas

After that, you have to create the delta table: http://www.wapshere.com/missmiis/how-to-make-a-sql-delta-table

Once you done that, you can go to your SQL MA and configure the delta table.
