Couldn't reconnect network drives after restart
Whenever I restart my Vista system, my network drives usually do not reconnect. It seems that Vista is trying to reconnect the drives before the network is even running? I see the networking icon does not yet have the 'world' showing on it when I get the annoying popup telling me, that yes, yet again, I have to open up Windows Explorer specifically and click on each drive to get it to work again.I am logging in as a domain user, and the network drive is on the Windows Server 2003 acting as the domain controller and DNS server as well. 'net use...' isn't really what I am looking for as an answer here. I want to know why Vista is trying to connect to network drives while my network is still coming up and if there is a way to delay it automatically until it does so. Any batch file solution is a total cop out, in my opinion, since the whole point of 'reconnect at login' checkbox is for it to do just that: autmoatically do what it needs to, to reconnect at logon. I had to use 'net use' 13 years ago when Win95 came out, and I figured this basic issue would have been resolved in the intervening years.
