Couldn't Connect Network Printer
I had this bizarre problem where I couldn't see my wireless hp c7100 printer. I am running build 7100 Pro64 bit. I couldn't even ping the server from Win7 although I could from other devices. I finally worked out it was the Win7 firewall, maybe a conflict with Kaspersky 2010. I could ping everything else on the network but not the printer. I checked DHCP, gateways and routes. When I attempted to ping I would get a "Destination Net Unreachable" from my own IP address. I am on the same subnet so I couldn't work out how the network was unreachable. Subnet mask was fine so it didn't matter what the default gateway was (I could talk to the internet anyway so gateway was OK). Normally Kaspersky disables the built-in firewall but maybe because this version doesn't specifically support Win7 it couldn't. All resolved by disabling Win7 firewall.
