Corel Painter Essentials 4 doesn't work,...i did a fresh..install...but no positive resultes

Corel Painter 11 zh-tw destroys the registry on a Vista 64 Premium Home system (en-us core with zh-tw language module) and does not start (file not found). A registry scan shows 70+ errors. The sound driver, the speaker smart switch, the white speaker LED, the HP update, the Windows update and more are not accessible. The SRS sound drivers were overwritten and unfunctional. Painter 11 could not be de-installed from the control panel. After a forced de-install (file deletion) there were still locked registry entries left over. I spent 2 days to repair my HP dv6-1260se. Except the "smart" speaker control switch/LED and some software I lost forever, my system can work again. And Corel Paint 11 zh-tw will end on the tram rails. And, btw, if you are in another country don't plug your PC into the hotel Internet jack. You may screw your english language system with chinese updates since corel detects your IP address for determining the O/S language.

I've bad news for you. That product is not in the application compatibility list. Your safest bet is to install XP in Microsoft's Virtual PC.
