Corel Draw X6 Random Shutdown
Bought a new HP computer. Came with Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. Was running XP on previous computer. Started having problems with Corel Draw X3 random shut downs. Bought CD X6. Problem got worse. CD will shut down anywhere from every 2 or 3 minutes to 10 or 15 minutes without notice. Corel hasn't been able to help. Recommended "clean start". Don't understand. Age 76. Using computers for 10 years, but the technical talk stupifies me. Need simple instructions. Can anyone recommend where to go, who to talk to, what to do?

"Clean" startup: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/331796 Basically, you disable stuff that loads on startup to see whether it is interfering with the software that you need to run. You may also want to read this: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/219487-clean-reinstall-factory-oem-windows-7-a.html' It describes how to re-install Windows for scratch in a way that does not include all of the crapware that HP may have installed.

Hi, The below link would guide you how to perform a clean boot. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135. If the issue persist after you make a clean boot, you can try to reinstall Corel Draw X3. Also I am not sure if this issue from Corel Draw X3. You can also post the issue to Corel Forum for help.
