My bad I, asked for a fixfor those of us converting from7 Beta to 7 RC1 and having some of myWindows media center files become copy protected and not playable totaly out of the blue. Please make sure that this is not an issue with the final release of 7.

rkball - Those files that are now unplayable - what format are they and were they DRM'ed previously? It may be that if they were purchased somewhere - like the Zune Market Place - and they were DRM'ed, the license may not have been backed up and replaced after you restored your files.

No they were recorded TV shows i.e. The Mentalist, it is a random effect. Some recorded with Vista work, some recorded from Beta 7 work others don't. There is no logic as its not all on series or movies just randomThanks for interest
