Copying User Profile Settings to other Win7 Pro machines - Best Practice in Domain Environment
Wanting to copy transfer User Profile settings to two other machines that will have the exact same users. All machines are on a domain and will be nearly identical software/hardware with minor differences. I am wanting to use the Windows Easy Transfer to do this. I have the first machine already configured for the users. Mainly I am concerned with the Office settings transferring (Outlook settings, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint settings), IE settings, and Print settings (default printer). Since this is a domain computer, I know I will need to at least add it to the domain first and make sure all the software is installed on the other computers before starting. I am assuming that all other settings should transfer? What might I be forgetting?
