I am about to recieve a DVD that I am permited to copy. I am new at using the computer and have two questions. 1. Can I play it on my Dell computer? 2. Can I copy it onto another DVD to have one to keep using my computer?

If your permitted to copy it and you have a DVD burner I don't see why not. If the DVD isn't copy protected there should be no problem. I see no reason you can't use it on your Dell depending on the specs of your computer.
