Controlling MBAM encryption prompts

Does anyone know if there's a way to control the frequency of how often MBAM challenges the user to encrypt and unencrypted drive? Is tied to the client checking status frequency value in the Configure MBAM service policy?
Essentially what I'd like to have is the client check to see if a disk is encrypted and if it's not (and it's supposed to be) to only prevent write access to the disk instead of prevent write access and prompting the user to encrypt the drive. I just
want to lose the nag message. Anyone know if that's possible?

Hi,
I think your purpose cannot be achieved. When the MBAM client prompt you to begin the process, you only have three choices.

1. Click Request Exemption to request exemption from encryption. MBAM will provide the
user a link for sending an email, opening a web page, or displaying a custom message

more information.
2. Click Postpone to postpone encryption. You can use Group Policy to configure the

maximum period of time that users can continue postponing encryption.
3. Click Start to begin the encryption process immediately. The MBAM client first takes

ownership of the TPM and reboots the PC, if necessary, and then prompts the user for a
PIN. The user can continue working as encryption progresses.
