Control Panel broken
Hi all,Loving the Windows 7 beta - finding it noticeably faster than Vista and enjoying some great new features, but ......Clicking on the Control Panel button in the Start menu does nothing, nor does the Windows Update button. Found some fixes for this problem for Vista, but the registry entries that needed to be altered don't seem to be present in7.Any ideas? Thanks,Ali.

Just tried typing Control Panel into the search bar (on the Start menu) and it finds it OK, bit again does nothing when clicked on :(Vista advice for this problem says to check that the "Software Licensing" service is started. That doesn't exist in W7, but "Software Protection" does and looks as though it's the same thing. Stopping and restarting that service has made no difference.Ali
