Control Modern IE using powershell

Hello,

I want to create a script that launches the modnern IE and is able to monitor when IE is closed.
I managed to launch modern IE using compiler- and interopservices and an applicationactivationmanager.

This is for W10 but seems to work for W8.1 too.

I don't find a way to let the script wait for the app to be closed though. When I execute ActivateApplication, I get a process ID but when I close modern IE, the process keeps running.

My goal is to create a script that runs IE modern when a user logs on and logs out the user when the user closes IE. Basically a kiosk with IE modern.

Does someone have an idea? Thanks!
