Could anyone explain how the buddy list is getting imported to the LYNC 2013 CLIENT. How this IN-BAND PROVISIONING works in regards to CONTACT LIST.

Could anyone explain how the buddy list is getting imported to the LYNC 2013 CLIENT. How this IN-BAND PROVISIONING works in regards to CONTACT LIST.

If you use the import-csuserdata, the imported data will be store on the backend SQL data base and will be available on the Lync client of the users.
The imported file is xml file and can be edited to change SIP etc.
import-csuserdata replace the Lync userdata and update-csuserdata add userdata.
