Constant random shut downs (event ID 6008) in Windows 7
I'm having terrible problems with my computer suddenly since yesterday. It started with a sudden shut down like someone had pulled the power cord. Then it restarted itself and I was never able to get past putting in my password without it shutting itself
down again. In safe mode I could get past putting in my password but then it would shut off before I could do anything. I checked all cables and connections. I redid the thermal behind my CPU. I swapped out RAM to see if that was the problem. I unplugged everything
but the monitor and keyboard and mouse. I did all updates and updated the BIOS. It ran okay for a couple of hours and then it all started again. Now it's going fine until I load up a game I like to play or sometimes just if I click a link in a web browser.
From what I can tell the reported temperatures of the CPU and system are fine (in the range of 24 and 34, respectively). I can't figure this out and I'm going crazy. What the heck do I test next? What do I do??

Hi,
According to your description, after you update the drivers and BIOS, the situation turns better. Did you udpate the graphic card?
Run a system file check, run cmd as administrator, input the command: sfc /scannow
I recommend you collect the minidump files. It should be located in %SystemRoot%\Minidump. When the system crash again, you can zip and upload it via
SkyDrive.
You can also analyze the dump files by yourself, refer to:
