Connection to Wireless Network Times Out
Update: Reinstalled drivers, settings acknowledged, but still unable to connect to the network. Cannot properly diagnose the problem. Wireless association failed due to an unknown reason. Situation: Laptop cannot connect to Apartment Complex's Wireless internet. It is running Vista. Other computers are able to connect to this connection (I am currently on it). It recognizes the network, but the error message "The settings saved on this computer for the network do not match the requirements of the network". I have tried the fixes in other threads, but have yet to see my issue addressed for Vista. When properly entering the security information, I receive this error: File System Error (-1073741566). After receiving this error, I am unable to input proper security settings. Each time I confirm, and close the window, the settings reset to No Authentication (Open). Links enclosed are screen caps from machine in question. Let me know if there is anything else I can provide to help this fix. Thanks for any help! http://img196.imageshack.us/i/errormq.jpg/ http://img651.imageshack.us/i/driverinfo.jpg/
