Connection dropped with dns.msftncsi.com timed out
Listed in the System Event log "Name resolution for the name dns.msftncsi.com timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded." Event ID:1014
Then not two minutes later after a second "Name resolution for the name dns.msftncsi.com timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded." ..
There is then the Name resolution for the name teredo.ipv6.microsoft.com timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded.
I do have Sun Virtual box with it's network stack.
Which I turned off and had it fix the network stack and was back on-line.
After a Google Search of the the teredo.ipv6.microsoft.com and dns.msftncsi.com. There was information about re-installing the teredo driver.
Still I would not like for this to happen again. I do have an event log with the all the details and time stamps.

Hi,
Thanks for your post!
You can refer to this

to find the resolution, although it’s related to Windows Vista, the cause would be the same.
Thanks for your cooperation!
