Connecting to two IP addresses.
I have two ethernet ports. How do I switch the IP addresses to connect. One is the Internet , the other is a machine readout.1 person needs an answerI do too

Hi Vinginn45, Thanks for posting. What exactly are you trying to do with the second network card that is not connected to the internet? To accomplish what you are speaking of without knowing all the details I would suggesting using two different IP addresses. With the network adapter you wish to use for just the internet, connect that to the router and allow DHCP (usually the default). In the other network adapter that you wish to have interface with another device, change the IP of that and the other device to something that is not on the same subnet. This should allow communication between the internet and the other device to remain separate. Hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
