Connecting to a 12. network (AT&T hotspots)
I have a Dell E6400 running Windows 7 Pro and I'm not able to access the internet when connecting to AT&T hot spots. I connect, get an IP adderss, gateway and DNS servers assigned via DHCP but I'm not able to connect to anything and am not able to ping anything, including the default The network address is 12. I've tried disabling my Norton Internet Security 2011 firewall and also tried booting in Safe Mode with Networking and get the same results. I've also tried running a few commands that were supposed to rebuld my IP4 and IP6 stacks. It almost seems that there's a Windows rule that's blocking access to 12. networks. I'm able to conenct to other wireless networks without a problem... I only have problems with AT&T hotspots that assign 12. IP addresses (I've tried a few different AT&T hot spots at this point). Any ideas appreciated.
