Connecting to Wireless Network - Can see several neighbours but not my own
I recently installed the Win7 RC on a Dell D600 (without a DVD drive) - so far the only real hiccup has been connecting to my Wireless network, which works fine for the D600 and other Laptops when running WinXP. I found I could see all other neighbourhood wireless networks fine, just not my own! A related problem was that I also found that I could not change the location from USA under Network Adapter Properties. This got me thinking that it might be the Channel (13) that I broadcast on, as being the problem. Sure enough, changing to Channel to 9 allowed me to connect to my own Network. Posted in case others strike a similar problem - but I would like to know if I can change the Network Adapter location to other than USA, or is this functionality disabled in the RC?

Are these settings for therouter or W7? I can only adjust the channel broadcast on the router and my IP told me what channel to broadcast on and I can also change the countrylocation only on the router settings, I can't find those settings in W7. I live in NZ.

Change the Location in Regional settings. After that, try to define manually a wireless network connection. You do have the name, password and other settings for this wireless network, right?
