Connecting to 2 wireless networks using different settings?
I'm wondering if there is a way to save network connection settings, i'm currently using 2 networks dailly one at home and the other at school. one of the networks inorder to work properly i'm required to use a static ip address and the other i'm reqired to us a dynamic ip address. Both connections are wireless i'm looking for a way to eather save my static settings so they can be easily restored or ideally set something up so that the system will automaticly configure my adapter to the settings i need to effectivly connect to the different wireless networks with the required settings.

You might use the networkadapters alternateconfiguration window. Go into the properties for TCP/IPv4 and select the Advanced -> AlternateConfiguration tab... Here is the XP article that talks about this... http://support.microsoft.com/kb/283676 Otherwise a product like NetSwitcher may work for you... http://www.netswitcher.com/
