Is there any way that windows 7 connect to open wireless networks automatically like windows XP? Yes, in an existing wireless network profile check the appropriate checkbox in the wireless network propertie. To get to the wireless network properties open the Network and Sharing Center and click on Manage wireless networks on the left then right click on the network and select Properties.http://cid-25ab668da65c8fbe.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/Windows%20images/Autoconnect.pngWhen connecting to a new wireless network the option to auto connect should be given to you to accept or not.http://cid-25ab668da65c8fbe.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/Windows%20images/AutoconnectNew.pngSee the little video for an illustration of this.http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/View-and-connect-to-available-wireless-networks MS-MVP Windows Desktop Experience, "When all else fails, read the instructions"

As Cdobbs said, Windows 7 can only access the profiled Wireless network. Regarding the non profiled Wireless network, I'm afraid that it cannot be accessed automatically. Thanks,Novak
