Connect Lync to Office365 on Windows Vista Operating System

Hello,

Our office uses Office365 for Business. We rely heavily on Lync/Skype for Business. We have a PC that is running Windows Vista and I need to get Lync installed and connected to the persons Office 365 account. I already know that Office365 does not support Vista, must be Windows 7 or higher.

Can you tell me where I can find a version of Lync that will install in Vista (64 bit) and connect to the person's Office365 account.

I was able to find a release of Lync that will install in Vista which is version 4.0.7577.0. But Lync does not connect to Office365. When Lync is launched, the box does have a link to download/install the Microsoft SSO client but once installed I can't get logged into Office365.

Thanks,

Hi,

Base on my understanding, you have to change to at least Windows 7 to support Lync/SFB online client.

As it is more related with Office 365, you can also post a case on Office 365 forum, and there are more Office 365 experts will help to confirm it. Thanks for your understanding.
